A temperature and thirst mod that doesn't defy logic. Challenging, but not in an annoying, grinding way.

Vampire Players are not affected by anything from this mod

Running out of water will kill the player
Thirst is affected by the environment temperature, body temperature and activity.

You can drink dirty water right from a water block using an empty hand and right clicking the water.

Water can be carried using either a Leather Flask or water bottles.

Water can be purified by cooking either the Flask or bottles in a Campfire, Smoker or Furnace or purified with a Water Filter.

Purified Water Bottles can be stacked to 16.

The Top number is the environment temperature in F. The bottom number is the body temperature in F.

Environment temperature is relative to a number of external factors

Body temperature is regulated through armor modifications and heat sources.

Insulation will help only when external temperature is cold. Will not do anything when hot
Lack of heat causing the body temperature to lower will eventually cause bad effects, even death.

Full Radiation Protection on all your armor will block ~80% of heat radiating from blocks around you
Being overheated will cause water to be used rapidly, which could lead to bad effects or death.

Waterproofing will prevent you from getting wet
Being wet is really bad (unless you're overheated), it can causing rapid cooling.

When body temperature is < 95F
TIP: place things that increase the environment temperature such as campfires, fires, vanilla torches, etc
Insulation will help prevent this.

When Body temperature is > 106F
TIP: Get “wet” by swimming in at least 2 block high water until you cool down.
If you have waterproofing on your armor, take it off.
Radiation Protection will help prevent this.

When Environment temperature is > 140F
TIP: Move away from large amount of blocks that are too hot such as lava, fire, campfires, etc
Radiation Protection will help prevent this.
